eClerx Customer Operations Delivers Insights on AI at the 2024 Mid-America Cable Show
As telecommunications brands shift their focus towards cost cutting and AI-powered efficiency gains, the eClerx team returned to the Mid-America Cable Show (MACS) to learn more about the industry’s future.
Earlier this April, eClerx’s Libin Benny, Senior VP Analytics & Technology, and Robert Schwietz, VP Global Business Development, attended the 2024 Mid-America Cable Show in Dallas, Texas to share invaluable insights into the latest advances in Generative AI within customer services.
Founded by the Mid-America Cable Telecommunications Association, the MACS is an annual premier educational and networking event for cable providers in the USA’s Midwest, providing informative panels and sessions on current and upcoming industry trends and opportunities to connect with fellow leaders in telecommunications.
Representing eClerx, Libin provided enlightening perspectives on CX analytics and technology to attendees at his own panel held at the event. Collaborating with Josh Peace, Head of Marketing at Actifi, Libin shed light on how large and small organizations can optimize their automated self-service tools while maintaining a personalized touch in customer experiences.
After detailing the main challenges that AI and self-service tools can solve in customer service, ranging from data aggregation to agent assist tools, Libin jumped into several ways he and his team were able to enhance and streamline their client’s support offerings through GenAI360, eClerx’s proprietary Generative AI solution. The discussion ranged from how AI is providing hyper-personalized customer interactions, reductions in agent training times, and data driven insights, while also touching on ethical usages of AI.
Helping dispel many of the myths surrounding generative AI tools, Libin’s expertise in the generative AI domain resonated deeply with the audience, opening the door for several additional discussions with interested attendees and brands that were at MACS. Other speakers that focused on AI tools were also left impressed by Libin’s panel, with one commending eClerx for having an “impressive suite of AI tools” from a capabilities perspective.
“We had some great conversations about generative AI. With so many organizations having questions about the real, practical uses for this emergent technology, as well as the costs associated with them, the audience was very interested in the ways eClerx was able to use gen AI to provide differentiated, yet authentic interactions in customer care.”
-Libin Benny, Senior Vice President of Analytics & Technology
With much of the industry focusing on reducing their overall spending—usually through utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology—a majority of the presentations that took place were focused on digital transformations and solutions. These panels ranged from the effect generative AI will have on marketing, the potential ethical complications AI tools can present, and the continued rise of digital connectivity in telecommunications.
“No matter if you’re a large or small organization, everyone is looking at how they can leverage AI and self-service tools within their organization. It is so entwined with the future of the telecommunications industry that if you didn’t at least make a passing mention of the technology and its impact within your presentation, you’d absolutely look like you were behind the times.”
-Libin Benny, Senior Vice President of Analytics & Technology
As eClerx continues its journey to pioneer advancements, we eagerly anticipate more opportunities to engage with industry leaders and showcase our robust technology solutions.
