LVMH: Transforming creative delivery and generating higher-quality assets with an advanced DAM solution

LVMH partnered with eClerx and CLX Europe to build a centralized digital asset management (DAM) system to enhance the speed and quality of creative production across its global luxury brand portfolio. Through the power of FLUiiD4, eClerx helped streamline asset improved productivity by +30% for their team, while helping their brand obtain 4 quality certifications.

Headquartered in Paris, France, LVMH is one of the world’s most influential luxury groups, renowned for its craftsmanship, heritage, and uncompromising quality standards. The company manages over 75 luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Hennessy, and Sephora, and was the first European organization to surpass a valuation of $500 billion.

With creativity at the heart of its business, LVMH depends on fast, flawless digital content execution to maintain its leadership in an increasingly competitive luxury market.

The challenge

As demand for premium digital content continued to surge, the sheer volume of creative assets required to support dozens of global brands began placing increasing pressure on LVMH’s design and marketing teams. When quality is the core of every product, the challenge is to make every image, 3D/CGI, or video asset reflect that ambition, with no exceptions. Daily asset production grew significantly, review and approval cycles became longer, and teams struggled to maintain visibility into asset status across campaigns.

These challenges resulted in delays for product launches, duplicated work, and inconsistencies in brand execution. To restore control, improve speed, and ensure world-class creative quality at scale, LVMH began exploring the implementation of an advanced digital asset management platform.

Creative workloads:

  • Designers regularly faced large workloads across the 14 divisions
  • Repurposing approved creatives to fit different platform or regional requirements took too long
  • No clear system to track timelines or progress on assets

No centralized location for assets:

  • Communication and WIP designs handled across multiple platforms, leading to confusion
  • Lack of defined location for assets led to duplicate designs being created

Inconsistent quality and time-to-market speed:

  • Long wait times for asset reviews impacted product launches
  • Unreliable version tracking potentially could lead to older or WIP assets being used

Our strategy

With CLX Europe having assisted LVMH with their digital asset creation in the past, eClerx’s familiarity with the client’s workflows allowed our domain experts to quickly develop a strategy to optimize their media creation processes.

Discovering that the client could significantly benefit from a more centralized location for these processes, CLX Europe introduced FLUiiD4, eClerx’s proprietary digital asset management (DAM) solution, to help increase the productivity of their designers and artists.

  • Centralized workflows: FLUiiD4 centralized all of the client’s design and review processes, creating a one-stop shop for designers, marketers, and clients, and reducing the confusion of multiple channels of communication. We also implemented custom access levels to protect sensitive files, as well as smart tagging to separate assets and campaigns by season, product, or region.
  • Enhanced visibility into production: To improve both the communication between designers and marketers, as well as overall project visibility, FLUiiD4 was set up to provide the client with smart tracking capabilities. From sending automated progress updates to establishing timelines for each campaign and project, our team ensured the client could easily track and manage revisions, removing the need for email threads and status meetings.
  • 24/7 expert support: While FLUiiD4 helps with digital asset management, the client also needed creative resources. CLX Europe provided a dedicated team of 150+ design and post-production professionals to help with running FLUiiD4, as well as assist designers and marketers with any questions.

The results

Over the course of a month, eClerx and CLX Europe successfully implemented FLUiiD4 within LVMH’s creative asset workflows. Through its centralization of approved assets and greater workflow visibility, our client was able to enforce a higher level of quality control that allowed them to get their products to market faster.

The results:

  • 30%+ productivity in the same delivery times
  • 80% approval of assets in the first round
  • 160K+ assets produced and managed
  • 4 quality certifications obtained

The client continues to work with eClerx, enjoying improved productivity and higher quality assets provided by FLUiiD4, and are now exploring our Generative and Agentic AI products to further optimize their image production and product management.
